The ODC Italia team is made up of 10 employees, seven based in Italy and three in Germany. Our director is Onofrio De Cicco and we have been on the market for over two generations.
Our adventure in the world of fruit-and-vegetable exporting began with a hunch of Onofrio's father, Cicco, who spotted a gap in the market. A key factor was his friendship with a Swiss importer with whom he started a business which, over the years, increasingly consolidated its position.
The fall of the Berlin Wall and the ensuing opening of Eastern European markets was crucial for us. In 1992 we opened a logistics base in Munich, Germany, which has enabled us to achieve excellence in the transportation, delivery and quality control of our products. Today we are proud to be able to satisfy any demand in a very short space of time.
Our key products are grapes, cherries, potatoes, vegetables, nectarines and kiwis (see our list of products and their availability) which we mainly transport via lorry with delivery times of two or three days maximum within Europe (seven days for Russia). We regularly supply to companies in Germany, France, Scandinavia, the Baltic republics, Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece and Croatia.
